Exciting new extensions for the Skannex platform:

We are continuing our success in developing new areas for our low cost platform:

CellPhoneReader™

Breaking news, use your Mobile Phone with a camera to read immunoassays:

Yes, with the help of the patent pending Skannex™-BarCode we have explored a new and revolutionary method of reading both qualitative and quantitative immunoassays. This fantastic invention enables anyone to get instant result anywhere without the need for a laboratory! The system is already tested and protected by our pending patent. Look out for the world's first CellPhoneReader™ from Skannex!

The CellPhoneRaeder™ is currently used in various pilots for home testing. This invention allows a user to download a Java application directly to the phone and start using the camera. Images of assays will be automatically uploaded to our Skannex Information Server (SIS). Instant analysis is perfomed as well as a prompt replay back to the phone. The user simply read the result in the display after few seconds.

Faecal Calprotectin home test in Ulcerative Colitis - is it possible? Read about the comparative study between the ELISA Gold Standard and the Skannex Cell Phone Reader - Skannex Lateral Flow reader (scanner) here.

ELISA immunoassay and Microplate Reader:

The first ELISA-Reader version of the Skannex™ application is in final test. Our goal is to be the first to offer a complete and reliable ELISA reader system based on an ordinary scanner!

The microplate / ELISA reader is just as userfriendly as the Lateral Flow Reader. After applying the sample simply place the microplate on the scanner and start the Skannex application. No need to use stop-solution, no need to attend and wait for end point. Skannex makes the whole procedure automated.

Bacteria colony counting:

The Skannex™ application for thin sheet or thin plate rapid tests, which are popular for detection of bacteria colonies, is in its final stage of testing.. Read the comparative test for colony counting using 3M™ Petrifilm™ here.
