The Norwegian health tech company Skannex has reached a profit based on good market penetration in several global markets, the Norwegian financial newspaper, Finansavisen, has reported.
Despite of multiple warnings before entering the Chinese market the company has established themselves as a preferred brand in China for Rapid Testing.
Point of Care Testing (PoC) or Rapid Testing is an increasing part of many industries. Skannex has managed to sign contracts with some of the largest providers of PoC tests in China, and they have recently extended a contract with a US company being one of the major players in food toxicity testing market.
The development of the software and instruments has been carried out in Oslo Science Park in Norway with active participation from their Chinese subsidiary and their Chinese instrument design & manufacturing partner. The company focuses on decentralized low cost testing solutions both in the human diagnostic market as well as in the market for toxicity testing of agricultural products.
